Apple has officially announced the US availability of the Vision Pro, a mixed-reality headset unveiled at last year’s WWDC. Priced at $3,499 for the 256GB variant, pre-orders start on January 19, with shipping commencing from February 2. CEO Tim Cook declared the arrival of the era of spatial computing, hailing the Vision Pro as the most advanced consumer electronics device.
The headset includes a Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band for customizable fit, along with accessories like a Light Seal, two Light Seal Cushions, an Apple Vision Pro Cover, a polishing cloth, battery, USB-C cable, and adapter. Apple also introduced lens attachments for vision correction—ZEISS Optical Inserts Readers for $99 and prescription lenses for $149.
The Apple Vision Pro features ultra-high-resolution dual OLED displays, Apple M2 and Apple R1 dual chipsets, 12 cameras, and 6 microphones. Running on VisionOS, a blend of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, the headset enables seamless interaction with digital content through eyes, hands, and voice controls, marking a significant advancement in consumer technology.
