The Tablet marketing is booming, as compared to the smartphones but the point is getting the branded and affordable device, HP 7 Plus stands as one of the cheapest tablet in the market.
HP just recently launched the HP 7 Plus in the US for a paltry $99.99. HP is known for its almost secretive cheap tablet launches, such as the release of the HP 8 earlier in the year.
The HP 7 Plus features a 1GHz quad-core processor, a 7-inch, 1024 x 600 resolution display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (and microSD card slot), 2-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera, 2800 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. If you purchase the tablet from HP’s website, you’ll also receive 25GB of lifetime storage with Box and Kingsoft Office software.
It’s not a workhorse, but for under $100, it’s appears to be a worthwhile alternative to some of the pricier models on the market. If you’re not looking for the sharp display of the iPad Air, the raw power of the Surface Pro 3 or the light weight of the Xperia Z2 Tablet, you might want to give HP’s latest entry a shot.
