Epic Games Store is now offering Sid Meier’s Civilization VI free as part of their on-going sale. The game is available for free until 28 May 2020. Which means you can go claim a copy before the offer is over and it will be yours forever.

This deal offering a free copy of Civilization VI comes a week after Epic Games Store gave away Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) for free which resulted in their store crashing for hours because of the high amount of users trying to login to get the game.

GTA V is one of the best selling games of all time and the game bring given away for free was highly unexpected. Shortly after people claimed their free copies, Rockstar servers also ended up crashing because of the high traffic and people were also unable to verify their Social Club accounts due to high volume of verification requests.

Lets come back to the topic of discussion which is Civilization VI. This is a very popular game which belongs to a series of games that dates back to 1991. This specific installment was released in 2016 and although it comes no where near the popularity of GTA V, this is still a huge title to be given away for free.
