Daraz.pk Fraud: Rejects Return of Fake AirPods

A member of INCPak Team, recently fell victim to a fraudulent seller on Daraz.pk. He ordered a pair of Apple AirPods for Rs. 35,629 (including delivery charges), however, he ended up receiving a fake AirPods instead and Daraz.pk ended up rejecting his return claiming that the seller sent him an original product.

The order #131772399555749 was placed on Daraz.pk by Abdullah Ali on 14 August 2021 during the Azadi Sale through a seller named Buy N Go. The product (Apple AirPods) was delivered by 24th August 2021 and a return was requested as the product was a copy of the original Apple AirPods. However, after a taking a few days to review the matter, Daraz.pk rejected the return for order # 131772399555749 citing that the seller had sent him the original product.

Daraz.pk added that the fake Apple AirPods, which cost Rs. 35,629, were being delivered back to him and “would be at his disposal.” Daraz.pk said that they reviewed the video provided by the buyer (INCPak member) and another video provided by the seller at the time of packaging and the seller packaged and sent the correct product.

Daraz.pk did not provide the video provided by the Buy N Go seller to the buyer. Daraz.pk response included:

“We have completed the evaluation of the product you returned from order #131772399555749. In accordance with our return policy, we regret to inform you that your return request has been declined by our quality check team for the following reason: We have the seller video that they send the correct item to you, you are share the partial video which is not acceptable if you have the complete video please share with us we will further coordinate with QC against the issue.

“We’ll be returning the product to you immediately.” the company responded.
