Facebook has removed the “Jerusalem Prayer Team” page from the social media platform after public backlash for showing fake support to Israel by giving the page automatic likes from users’ profiles without their consent.
The “Jerusalem Prayer Team” page emerged amid the escalating violence being carried out by Israel against innocent civilians and children of Palestine. The purpose of the page was to show fake support for Israel and their crimes against humanity.
Facebook started giving the page automatic likes from users’ profiles without their consent, which resulted in immense backlash from people and the social media users forcing the removal of said page.
The page clearly showed bias of Facebook and the lengths it will go to in order to support the atrocities being carried out by Israel against the people of Palestine.
The ‘Jerusalem Prayer Team’ page which was accessible at https://www.facebook.com/jerusalemprayerteam is no longer accessible and removed by Facebook from the social media platform.

Yesterday, Israel targeted a building that housed Al Jazeera, Associated Press and several other international media outlets. The Israeli forces did not give any reason for targeting a building in Gaza that had offices of international media outlets
