The rumored Google Foldable Smartphone may be called the Pixel Notepad, which was earlier rumored to be called the Google Pixel Fold, as per a report by 9to5Google. The upcoming smartphone is said to feature a form-factor similar to the Oppo Find N, while being cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
The Foldable Smartphone by Google is tipped to come with the same Google Tensor SoC that powers the vanilla Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, however, the reports says that it may offer a slightly downgraded version of the camera in comparison to the Pixel 6 Series.
The report also states that the Google Pixel Notepad is just a working brand name, and Google is also taking ‘Logbook’ into consideration for the name of its upcoming Foldable Smartphone that is expected to be priced around $1,799, which is less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
However, the company has not provided any solid information regarding their Foldable Smartphone, and they have also denied the rumors around the inclusion of a less powerful camera system on the alleged Google Pixel Notepad as compared to the Pixel 6 series.
The smartphone was initially reported to be called the Google Pixel Fold, however, the new report by 9to5Google says otherwise and claims that it will be called the Google Pixel Notepad instead. Furthermore, the Google Foldable Smartphone might not be launched on a global scale and may be available to select markets only.
Moreover, the leaks so far suggest that the Google Pixel Notepad will come with the company’s own Google Tensor SoC, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
