Google I/O Event 2022 Announced For May 11th & 12th

Google’s annual developer conference, the Google I/O Event 2022, has been announced by the company and it will take place on 11^th and 12^th May, 2022. The event will take place online from the Shoreline Amphitheater with everyone able to tune into the Google I/O Event 2022 at io.google.

The announcement was made by Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai on Twitter. “We’ll be back live from Shoreline Amphitheatre for this year’s #GoogleIO!,” he Tweeted, while sharing a link to the Google I/O site where the 2022 event will be streamed online.

Furthermore, the Google I/O Event 2022 can be attended for free through registration, which will begin sometime this month, according to Google’s FAQs. There are going to be no tickets, and no charges to attend the virtual event this year.

It is pertinent to mention that Google I/O was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and returned as an online event in 2021 and the company is following the same protocols this year as well, making it a virtual event once again.
