Huawei is continuing its work on the new Nova 12 series, with the Nova 12S model recently spotted and expected to be revealed soon. According to Gizmochina, the Nova 12S has several similarities with the previous Nova 11, suggesting it’s a rebranded version. Despite hurdles, Huawei is pushing forward with smartphone development, aiming for user-friendly designs, strong performance, and powerful cameras.
The Nova 12S, bearing the model number “FOA-LX9,” shares its model number with the Nova 11, indicating potential similarities in specifications. While exact changes aren’t known, it’s anticipated that the Nova 12S will closely resemble the Nova 11 with some minor tweaks. The Nova 11 featured a Snapdragon 778G SOC, which is likely to be retained in the Nova 12S, albeit without a 5G modem due to constraints arising from Huawei’s challenges with the US.
Although the launch date of the Nova 12S remains unknown, its appearance in the IMEI database suggests an imminent release. Despite uncertainties, Huawei persists in its efforts to introduce new smartphones, adapting to limitations while striving to deliver reliable and innovative devices to consumers.
