According to the president of the Huawei 5G product line, Yang Chaobin. 5G phones around $150 may be launched by the company by the end of the year 2020 or early 2021.
According to the Chinese tech giant and smartphone manufacturer it has already shipped around 6.9 million units of smartphones with 5G support in 2019.

Based on research agencies in China, 20 percent of smartphones under the price tag of $290 will support 5G. Also by December, 2019 an estimated 5 million 5G smarphones have already been sold.
Based on some sources, around 20 percent of all mid range phones will come with 5G support.

Even Xiaomi’s co founder, Lei Jun has said that the company plans on releasing more than 10 phones with support for 5G this year and also plans on investing $7 billion in 5G tech over the next five years.

This is all good for Xiaomi, but Huawei might face challenges when it comes to keeping up with sales based on the current issues the company is facing with the US government.
Based on reports, the US government might limit sales of foreign made goods to Chinese tech giant Huawei even more.
