Instagram, the photo sharing app introduced some few features to the platform today available in their Instagram Stories camera. Instagram new features are called SlowMo, Echo and Duo.
These Instagram new features were announced by the company through a post on their twitter.
The company has said in a statement:
Your Instagram camera gives you ways to express yourself and easily share what you’re doing, thinking or feeling with your friends. Boomerang is an iconic part of that, and one of the most beloved camera formats. Instagram is excited to expand on the creativity and give you new ways to use Boomerang to turn everyday moments into something fun and unexpected,
These new features are now available in the Boomerang composer which is available in the Instagram Stories camera.
The SlowMo feature does exactly what it sounds like and that is slowing down Boomerang videos to half their speed. The Echo feature creates a double vision effect as suggested by its name and the last feature Duo adds textured effects along with the ability to speed up or slow down the Boomerang videos.
There is also an added function along with the Instagram new features in today’s update that allows users to trim and adjust the length of their Boomerang recordings according to their liking.
Instagram is adding more and more features to their photo sharing app and specifically to their Instagram stories and just recently introduced another feature by the name of Layouts.
The option adds a new mode that allows the user to create collages with two, three or even four and six photos. The feature allows the user to use both the front cam as well as the rear cam to take photos for the collage and even select photos from the gallery. Obviously after selecting or taking the photos, the user can add text, filters or stickers as he/she wishes before they post.
Details about the Layout feature is available in your article here.
