Meta-owned Instagram is testing a new sticker creation feature that will let users make custom stickers from their own photos and use them in Reels or Stories.

The feature is fairly simply and the user just needs to select the subject of a photo and remove the background, which is going to create a free-floating sticker that can be placed over other content.
Adam Mosseri also provided a brief demonstration of how this feature will operate, adding that users will also have the option to create stickers from other eligible images they see on the photo and video-sharing platform.

However, this feature is still under testing and hasn’t rolled out to all users. Moreover, the platform also started testing a new polling feature, which will show up in the comments section under feed posts.
