Apple’s much-anticipated iPhone 13 Pro successor, the iPhone 14 Pro, is may come equipped with 8GB of RAM, according to a new report. The company’s upcoming flagship smartphones are tipped to feature the same amount of RAM as its rival, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series as well as other major Android smartphones.
According to a post by tipster ‘yeux1122’ on Naver Blog (in Korean), the iPhone 14 Pro will feature 8GB of RAM, higher than its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, as well as the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max that were launched in 2020. Furthermore, the post claims that iPhone 14 Pro’s memory components have been confirmed, citing a domestic supply chain source and mass production is already accelerating.
There have been several other rumors about the iPhone 14 Pro, including some that state the smartphone will feature a 48MP camera, which will be the highest pixel count sensor released on an iPhone yet. It is also rumored that iPhone 14 series will be making a switch to the eSIM, effectively eliminating another port from the smartphone, which will help it become more waterproof.

Moreover, there are rumors that iPhone 14 series may have a drastic change to the front notch, which houses the camera and other important sensors related to Apple’s Face ID. The smartphone is said to come with two smaller cutouts, one in a traditional punch-hole design and other in a pill shape.
