There are reports circulating on the internet suggesting that Activision might be planning on releasing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered Edition in 2021.
We have already seen the remastered iterations of the first two Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games and while there is no official confirmation by Activision regarding the third installment, a tipster and ex-ambassador for the company claims that the next COD Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered Edition might be releasing in 2021.
According to the tipster by the name of MW2 OG (@TheMW2Ghost), Activision is planning on releasing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered Edition sometime in 2021.
The tipster further claims that the release was originally set for Q2 or 2021 and it isn’t confirmed whether this is still the game’s window, however, a release is said to be happening this year.

So, it was originally set for Q2 of this year under a deal with PlayStation, but not sure if that’s still the case (date). Apparently it’s definitely still coming at some point this year
Moreover, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered Edition is set for release on the PlayStation at first and other platforms will have to wait for at least a month before gamers are able to get their hands on this new version.
Activision has done this in the past as well when they released the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered on the PlayStation 4 back in 2020 and later extended the new game to Xbox and PC after one month.
It bears mentioning that there is still no official confirmation by Activision regarding the release of COD Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered Remastered and we will have to wait and see what the company has planned this year.
