Meta is launching AI chatbots across all its social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, while giving developers the power to create their own versions of AI assistants.
According to the details, Meta AI is powered by Llama 2 and Bing and it is the company’s answer to ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Google Bard, which provides answers to your questions by searching the internet for information.
Meta has started rolling out three new AI services, which include AI stickers, AI chats, and photorealistic image generation. Furthermore, the company plans to launch 28 more AIs in beta, with unique interests and personalities.
According to Meta, some are played by cultural icons and influencers like Snoop Dogg, Tom Brady, Kendall Jenner and Naomi Osaka. Moreover, the company plans to launch AIs for businesses and creators along with AI studio for people and developers to build their own AIs.
AI Stickers
This is one of the new AI features being rolled out by Meta on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. It allows you to create their own custom stickers, edit your images and co-create with friends on Instagram using Meta’s new AI editing tools.
AI Chats
The second feature is Meta AI, which is basically a chatbot or conversational assistant that available on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram, and it is coming to Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Quest 3.
Meta AI provides answers to your questions about different topics using real-time information using the internet , which is where the company’s partnership with Bing comes into play.
Photorealistic Image Generation
Another feature is ‘Photorealistic Image Generation’ or generative AI that allows you to create images from text prompts in seconds and share them with friends. All you need to do is prompt /image and AI will allow you to generate images to represent an idea, place, or person.
However, this feature will be available in the US only during its initial phase.
