Meta-owned WhatsApp is working on two new features that will make group management easier for admins. According to WABetaInfo, the encrypted messaging app is bringing a new interface for group settings along with a new option for adding other participants.
The update is available to select users running WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.11.11 and WhatsApp for iOS version 23.11.78. However, we can expect a larger rollout to more people in the coming weeks.
These new features will make managing WhatsApp groups a lot easier for admins. For instance, WhatsApp group admins, who install the stable version of WhatsApp from the App Store can experience the new interface.
They will have the ability to decide who can add members to the group by selecting the ‘Add Other Participants’ option available in the new WhatsApp group interface. It will make managing WhatsApp group a lot easier for admins.
WhatsApp has been working hard to introduce new features on all platforms, including its Desktop app. Recently, the instant messenger released a new beta version with a new picture editing tool that allowed users to crop photos within the app, a feature that was not available in the past.
