OnePlus is said to release a much affordable phone then their current line up next year. Along with their OnePlus 8 series they’re planning on releasing a much affordable version of the phone possibly called the OnePlus 8 Lite. OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles has released renders of what the phone might look like.
OnLeaks has a pretty good track record when it comes to it’s renders being really close to the final product including some earlier Samsung and iPhone models being being accurate.
OnLeaks and 91Mobiles posted the renders of the OnePlus 8 Lite that clearly show a front hole punch cut out for the camera and a dual rear camera on the back of the device.
The OnePlus 8 Lite is said to have a 6.4 inch display making it smaller than the current OnePlus 7 series although not by a big margin with the OnePlus 7T being 6.55 inches.
From the render we can see that the phone has a USB-C port but it’s missing the headphone jack which is becoming more rare these days with most companies not including it in their phones anymore.
91Mobiles say that the OnePlus 8 Lite should be around 8.6mm thin which is just along the lines of the company’s flagship phones. The internal hardware of the phone is still a mystery and not sure if OnePlus is planning on putting in a slower processor and RAM or just a smaller screen and less cameras.
Again, none of this is official or confirmed by OnePlus, the final phone or design may end up being completely different at the end. We are sure we will see more news on the upcoming OnePlus 8 series in the coming months with more details and confirmations.
