OnePlus Ace 3V Confirmed to Get Three Android Version Updates & 4 Years of Security Patches

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3V, which is scheduled to debut in China on March 21st, 2024. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has been gradually disclosing important details about the device.

In a recent message on Weibo, OnePlus confirmed that the Ace 3V will come with an IP65-rated body, providing defense against water splashes and dust. The phone will debut with ColorOS 14, based on Android 14, and will receive three Android OS updates within four years. This means users can expect security updates for four years, with the phone upgrading to Android 17.

The device will boast an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, supporting 2160Hz PWM dimming and eye protection features. Powering the OnePlus Ace 3V will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It will house a substantial 5000mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

Alongside the smartphone, OnePlus will also introduce the OnePlus Buds V Earbuds on the same day. There are rumors suggesting a potential global release under the Nord 4 branding.
