OnePlus is planning on launching its first Smartwatch early 2021 according to a tweet by the company founder and CEO, Pete Lau.
“Many of you said you wanted a watch, and as you might have heard over the weekend—we’re making one,” said the company CEO on Twitter.
He also mentioned that the OnePlus Smartwatch is all set to “to be released early next year” according to his tweet.

However, the company CEO, Pete Lau, did not shared any particular details about the specifications, features or design of the upcoming smartwatch.
It is pertinent to mention that the company did make an attempt to enter this market segment back in 2016 but abandoned the product to focus more on their smartphone line.
OnePlus has been expanding into different market segments in recent years and have already launched their OnePlus Buds to rival the Apple AirPods. The company is also making smart TVs which are available in some markets.
