Seems like all smartphone manufacturers are now diving into the smartphone business and Oppo is one of them. There are rumors that there is an Oppo smartwatch in development that might have support for electrocardiogram (ECG).
This is the similar to the feature already offered in the Apple Watch.
The rumored was shared by a Chinese tipster on Weibo who also mentioned that the design of the smartphone might be in a square shape.
Oppo have already announced that it plans to launch smartphones last month at the Inno Day 2019 conference in China.

Although Oppo won’t be having any innovative features in its smartphone as the ECG monitoring is now a function available in many smartwatches in the market including Samsung Galaxy Active 2, Amazfit Verge 2 and obviously the Apple Watch Series 4 that was the first to be launched with support for ECG.
Although the watch didn’t have the feature unlocked on release, it did unlock the feature through a software update later.
Although Oppo could make the smartwatch with ECG support more accessible to people through its competitive pricing like some other products.
It is expected that details regarding any upcoming smartwatch will be announced at the MWC 2020 event next month.
The tipster however did not reveal details about the release or price of the smartwatch.
Although, everyone should keep in mind that this is still just a rumor and there is no official news to the features and release of an upcoming Oppo smartwatch.
