Pakistan is facing slow internet service as users report problems accessing a lot of websites, especially social media platforms like Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), which is completely down and inaccessible for the last two hours for everyone across the country.
While the issue is not affecting all of the Internet Service Providers (ISPs), PTCL users are reporting degraded and slow internet services in Pakistan. However, they are able circumvent the issue by using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service.
It is pertinent to mention that X (formerly Twitter) is also down in Pakistan as users started reporting the problem on other social media platforms. According to Downdetector, there was an uptick in user complaints regarding X around 8:30 pm as they were unable to access the website or use the app.
