Poco is gearing up to launch its next budget-friendly phone, the Poco C61, as revealed by recent reports. This device has received certification from various platforms including India’s BIS, Bluetooth SIG, and the Google Play Console database. It’s speculated to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A3, recently introduced in India. Appuals leaked key specifications, renders, and pricing details of the Poco C61.
The Poco C61 will be available in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at approximately ~$90 and ~$102, respectively. Render images showcase black, blue, and green variants of the device.
Reportedly, the Poco C61 will feature a 6.71-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (1650 x 720 pixels), a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will be powered by the Helio G36 chipset, coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card. A 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support through a USB-C port is expected.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and camera setups comprising a 5-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapixel main camera paired with a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor on the rear.
Given the timeline of previous releases, the Poco C61 is anticipated to be unveiled next month, following its predecessor’s launch pattern from last year.
