Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 Launched in Pakistan

Realme, a leading smartphone brand, has announced the release of its latest smartphones, the Realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G, in Pakistan.

Realme is bringing back it’s much anticipated number series after a two-year break. Known for its premium feel and advanced photography features, this series now also boasts excellent chipset capabilities.

Realme 12+ 5G Performance

The Realme 12+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G Chipset, which includes an 8-core 64-bit architecture. This setup features 2 ARM® Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.6GHz and 6 ARM® Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, along with a Mali-G68 GPU. This combination ensures powerful performance and low power consumption.

The Realme 12+ 5G is available in two versions: 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM and 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM. With an AnTuTu Benchmark score of over 580,000, it is one of the top performing smartphones in its price range. The phone also excels in heat control, software optimization, gaming capability, and charging speed.

Design

The Realme 12+ 5G features a design inspired by French watchmaker Ollivier Savéo, known for his collaborations with luxury brands like Rolex and Breitling. The phone has a polished sunburst dial design, premium vegan leather, and PVD polished edges. It is ultra-light and slim, measuring only 7.87mm in thickness and weighing 190g.

Meanwhile, the realme 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset. Known for its high performance, this chipset boosts the user experience significantly. The realme 12 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, photos, and videos.

Camera and Display

Both the realme 12 and realme 12+ 5G come with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). They feature 2X In-sensor zoom and Cinematic 2X Portrait Mode for flexible shooting and stable video capture.

The smartphones sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, vibrant colors, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The realme 12+ 5G offers 4096 levels of brightness adjustment and a peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight.

Fast Charging and Battery Life

Both models are equipped with a 5000mAh battery and support 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. They can charge to 50% in 19 minutes and to 100% in 48 minutes.

Pricing and Availability

The price of the Realme 12 is Rs. 59,999, while the Realme 12+ 5G costs Rs. 74,999. The realme 12 will be available in Pioneer Green and Skyline Blue, and the realme 12+ 5G in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige.

Both models will be available for purchase starting July 1, 2024.
