Realme 12 Pro+ May Get a Transparent Back Panel

Realme 12 Pro series recently became a hit in India and now Realme Europe CEO Francis Wong has teased the Realme 12 Pro+ with a transparent back panel in an image shared online, which may indicate a global launch with a transparent option.

Although Wong did not explicitly name the smartphone, the hands-on image strongly suggests it is the Realme 12 Pro+. The device features a circular camera module highlighted by a Gold color, housing three sensors, including a periscope lens, similar to the 12 Pro+.

The transparent back panel allows a glimpse of the internal components beneath the camera module and surrounding areas. Wong is seeking user suggestions on where to launch this variant, hinting at a potential limited release. Speculations suggest a likely launch in the Chinese market, given the official launch scheduled for this month.

The Realme 12 Pro+ in offers Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue color options, boasting a 6.67-inch FHD+ curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, it comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W charging and features a camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 64MP periscope lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle unit.
