Redmi has launched its first tablet in Pakistan – the Redmi Pad – just a few days after the product made its global debut. According to Mi Store, the price of the Redmi Pad in Pakistan is just Rs. 57,499 and the tablet is only available in one memory configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
This is just the base variant of the Redmi Pad and international market has other variants with higher memory configurations. However, the company may launch more variants of the Redmi Pad in Pakistan depending on the customer response and success of the first tablet.
Internals and Storage
The Redmi Pad is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and comes in a single memory configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
Display
The tablet has a 10.61-inch IPS LCD panel with 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Camera
The rear camera on the Redmi Tab is an 8-megapixel sensor, while the front camera is also 8-megapixel but supports a 105° Field of View (FOV) with Focus Frame.
Both of the cameras are capable of recording videos at 1080p 30 FPS.
Battery and Charging
The tablet is powered by a giant 8,000 mAh battery supports 18W fast charging with a 22.5W charger included in the box. Furthermore, the company claims their Redmi Pad can be used for non reading for up to 26 hours, nonstop video for 21 hours, and nonstop gaming for 12 hours.
Colors
Redmi Pad comes in two colors, including Graphite Grey and Moonlight Silver.
