Rockstar Games has confirmed the Remastered Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Trilogy, which will include the Grand Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas. The remastered version of these GTA titles will be released in a package called the ‘Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.’
The remastered trilogy is coming to PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher and consoles, including the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. However, the company has not revealed any more detail about the upcoming remastered version of the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy.
“Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.” said Rockstar Games.
Furthermore, the publisher is planning to celebrate the 20th anniversary of GTA III later this month. Rockstar Games has also announced that special events and commemorative gear are coming to GTA Online this fall. Moreover, the company is not only working on old GTA titles but has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PS5 and Xbox SeriesX/S in March 2022.
It is about time Rockstar Games is coming out with something ‘newish’ in the Grand Theft Auto Series as it has been 8 years since the release of Grand Theft Auto V.
