Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Fold 2 which is said to have an under display camera according to a report by Aju Daily.
Samsung has been working on under display camera technology for some time now and the Galaxy Fold 2 might be the first Samsung phone to be released with the tech.
According to the Aju Daily report, the new Galaxy Fold 2 also codenamed “Champ” will use Samsung’s Under Display Camera tech called UDC that will result in a notch-less display.

Samsung is currently using a hole-punch design they call the Infinity-O display and this new UDC tech will entirely eliminate the need for a hole punch or a notch of any sort reducing screen bezels even further for an all screen smartphone experience.
Samsung isn’t the first smartphone manufacturer to be working on an under display camera tech as Chinese smartphone giants Oppo and Xiaomi have already shown off clips of their prototype smartphones with an under display camera in action.
The founder of he Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) Ross Young tweeted about the Galaxy Fold 2 mentioning that the phone will feature a 7.7 inch screen in its unfolded position and also mentioned the price saying that it will be more expensive than the current clamshell design foldable phones. He also said that the phone is expected to come out mid year.
Maz Weinbach who is a tipster also tweeted something similar this morning about the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 referring to its 7.7 inch display and release around July this year along with the Note20.
He continued to talk about the release schedule with the Galaxy S and Z Flip releasing in Q1 of 2020 while the Galaxy Note and Fold series would be out in Q2 or Q3.
However, despite all of this, it should be noted that as of right now there is no official announcement on the specs or release of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and the phone might end up being very different.
