Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 has been a hot topic recently as the rumor has it that the new model is going to be much better than the older one. One of the major improvements is the addition of Exynos W940 processor which is expected to bring a 30% enhancement in speed and 50% improvement in efficiency compared to the previous model. This achievement is more conspicuous in the field of wearable technology, where the progress is often slower.
Interestingly, the Galaxy Watch 7 is rumored to adopt a square-shaped design, a departure from Samsung’s usual round shape for its smartwatches. This change has reportedly garnered enthusiasm within the company. Such a shift in design could mark a fresh direction for Samsung’s wearable lineup.
The battery performance of the Galaxy Watch 7 is anticipated to improve, addressing a common concern among users. While earlier models experienced a decline in battery life compared to the original Galaxy Watch’s impressive 4-day endurance, the upcoming iteration aims to reverse this trend. With competitors like the OnePlus Watch 2 boasting up to 100 hours of battery life, Samsung seeks to remain competitive in this aspect.
According to tipster @kro-roe, the Galaxy Watch 7 might be offered in three versions: Classic, Pro, and a new variant possibly featuring the square design. This diversification of models could cater to different preferences and needs among consumers.
Historically, Samsung has unveiled new Galaxy Watch series alongside its foldable smartphones in August. Therefore, it’s speculated that the Galaxy Watch 7 will debut alongside the rumored Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 this summer. This synchronized release strategy suggests an exciting lineup of devices from Samsung in the near future.
