A fresh rumor suggests Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 with high-end specs and eye-pleasing Super AMOLED Full HD display. The news actually isn’t all that surprising, as we know Samsung is capable of creating a wonderful tablet as the Nexus 10.There are two prototypes of the Tab 3 Plus floating around, one with a 10.1-inch display and one that’s 11.6-inches. Samsung’s next Galaxy Note 3, will arrive at september 2013, reports claim
The new tablet will not be Samsung’s first model sporting a Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 had a Super AMOLED Plus display and the tablet was highly appreciated for its display and its phone functionality.
For the time being, the most powerful tablet of the company is the Nexus 10, boasting a 10.1-inch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a dual-core Exynos 5 Dual chipset based on Cortex A15 cores.
Returning to the unannounced 10.1 or 11.6 inch Samsung tablet, the source says that it will be underpinned by an Exynos 5 SoC. We don’t know yet whether it’s the Exynos 5 Dual chipset of the Nexus 10 or the new Exynos 5 Octa SoC that was fitted inside the freshly-launched Galaxy S4. Other expected features include 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 320 GPU, a 13-megapixel camera with many of the Galaxy S4’s features such as dual-capture mode
Basically, the new tablet could be a bigger brother of the Galaxy Tab 7.7, a device that might actually cannibalize the Galaxy Note 8.0 sales.
