The Swedish-based music streaming service Spotify might soon be launching their services in Pakistan according to a recently created Instagram account.
Spotify created a verified Instagram account for Pakistan with handle @SpotifyPakistan but the company itself hasn’t released any official statement regarding the launch of their music streaming services in the country.
Spotify has amassed over 15,000 follower on the photo and video sharing platform in less then a day which clearly shows the huge demand for their music streaming and multimedia services in the country.
Spotify is one of the largest music streaming platform in the world with over 144 million subscribers from 92 countries despite competition from other platforms like Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube Music.
The reason behind this popularity is the music industry is the massive collection of songs available in its library which trumps all other services at the moment.
Similar to other online services, the music streaming app shot in subscriber count during the coronavirus pandemic as more and more users tuned in during their free time.
However, we still need to wait for an official statement by Spotify regarding launching their services in Pakistan since their newly created Instagram account doesn’t contain any new updates.
