Elon Musk’s Starlink, a satellite broadband internet service, is now officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
According to the details, a meeting was held between the Global Director SpaceX, Ryan Goodnight, and Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication, Syed Aminul Haq, to discuss the details of the registration of Starlink Broadband Internet in Pakistan.

Taking to Twitter, the Federal Minister said that Starlink’s internet services will significantly reduce operational costs of telecom operators in Pakistan. He added that inactive mobile towers in remote areas can also be activated at low cost.
“Our main objective is to deliver broadband services to very corner of Pakistan at affordable rates.” he added.
The SpaceX Global Director, Ryan Goodnight, thanked the Minister for his full cooperation, adding that Pakistan was progressing fast in the IT and Telecommunication sector. “Basic steps are complete and now we are ready to go fast.” he added.
The launch of Starlink Satellite Broadband Internet in Pakistan will help bring high-speed internet connectively to remote areas.
