TCL showcased two innovative tablets at CES 2024—the NxtPaper 14 Pro and Tab 10 NxtPaper 5G. Both feature NxtPaper 3.0 displays, incorporating a new polarizing filter and updated DC dimming for a comfortable reading experience.
TCL NxtPaper 14 Pro
The NxtPaper 14 Pro boasts a 14-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,880 x 1,800px resolution, and an upgraded 700 nits peak brightness. It introduces a dedicated NxtPaper button for quick display mode toggling and houses a single 50MP main camera.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020 chipset, it comes with 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a substantial 12,000 mAh battery supporting 33W charging. Running on Android 14 with TCL’s UI overlay, the tablet is set to launch in Spring 2024 in the US.
TCL Tab 10 NxtPaper 5G
The Tab 10 NxtPaper 5G, a more compact 10-inch tablet, shares the NxtPaper 3.0 tech on its 10.4-inch LCD with a 2,560 x 1,440px resolution and 700 nits brightness.
Equipped with an unspecified eight-core chipset supporting 5G connectivity, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage, it runs on Android 14 and features a 6,000 mAh battery.
These tablets will be available in select regions, starting with the US in Spring 2024. However, they will not be released in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, as mentioned in TCL’s press release.
