TCL launched a number of new devices during the CES 2024 event that drew everyone’s attention, especially when it showcased its gigantic 118-inch mini LED TV. Among the new announcements, TCL introduced its latest 50 series of smartphones, which are set to hit the US market soon.
Here’s a rundown of the TCL 50 series smartphones:
- TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G
- TCL 50 XE NXTPAPER 5G
- TCL 50 XL 5G
- TCL 50 XE 5G
- TCL 50 LE
The first two phones feature TCL’s latest NXTPAPER 3.0 technology, promising to reduce the harmful blue light by up to 61% without compromising crisp images and vivid colors as well as deep contrast and natural motion.
With the Circularly Polarized Light (CPL) display and NXTPAPER 3.0 technology integrated, the user will be able to enjoy a visual experience similar to reading books in natural light yet with additional functions such as DC dimming that lessens strain on their eyes given its flicker-free viewing perspective.
Regarding the particulars, TCL 50 XL 5G is equipped with a spacious 6.8-inch FHD+ display along with dual speakers and DTS sound support as well as an impressive battery life of around 5,010mAh.
On the other side, TCL 50 XE 5G has a slightly smaller 6.6-inch HD+ 90Hz refresh LCD screen. Furthermore, there are dual speakers as well as the same battery with 5,010mAh to ensure consistent operation.
Finally, the TCL 50 LE is the least expensive choice that features a smaller battery at 4,000mAh, a 6.6-inch 90Hz display, dual speakers and a 13MP main camera. However, TCL has not mentioned the exact date of availability for the 50 series smartphones.
