TikTok is working on adding new AI-generated avatars as part of its upgraded Symphony ad suite, according to News Central.
Symphony is a set of tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI). These tools will help users and businesses create ads using avatars. This new feature will allow creators to make avatars that look like real people.
Andy Yang, the head of creative products at TikTok, introduced Symphony by saying, “At TikTok, we aim to empower creators and propel their creativity to a global audience with the power of generative AI. Symphony Digital Avatars unlock a new avenue for creators to scale their opportunities with brands globally. We aim to fuel the creator economy by investing in creative solutions that spark joy, imagination, and action.”
According to reports, there will be two types of digital avatars available for creators: stock avatars and custom avatars. Stock avatars are pre-made using paid actors. They come from various backgrounds and nationalities and can communicate in more than 30 languages.
On the other hand, custom avatars can be made in any way the creator wants. These avatars can represent the creator’s brand and also have the ability to present or translate messages in over 30 languages.
