TikTok is reportedly testing a new Watch History feature that will enable users to rediscover videos they’ve watched in the past, which would make it easier for users to find clips they may have not liked either in a rush or by accident. The feature was first spotted by Hammod Oh, a Twitter user who is known for uncovering new features on social media platforms and later confirmed by Geekout Founder, Matt Navarra.
According to the screenshot shared by Hammod Oh, TikTok is testing a feature that will allow users to access their Watch History and look for videos they’ve come across in the past. However, the feature is still in its infancy and it is unclear which users have access to their TikTok Watch History.

The Watch History reportedly keeps a log of TikTok videos a user has watched over the last 7 days. However, this isn’t the only way TikTok users can view their Watch History. Until now, TikTok users looking for previously watched videos could use the app’s search function, toggling a filter that would only surface videos previously viewed by the user.
However, the new function will make it easier for users to go through their TikTok Watch History without having to go through any hassle with search terms. By contrast, the new feature would be more easily available through the app’s settings menu.
