Twitter reactions to the recent TikTok ban in Pakistan have been divided with some supporting the decision while others are against the censorship calling it a serious affront on the rights of internet users.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) banned TikTok in Pakistan for failure to remove immoral and indecent content in the country after specific instructions were made the management of the social media application.

Furthermore, the regulator stated that it received several complaints from different segments of society regarding the spread of unlawful content in the country.
It is pertinent to mention that the TikTok ban in Pakistan took place just a day after Jannat Mirza garnered over 10 million followers on the short video sharing app.
People’s reactions to the TikTok getting banned in Pakistan have been mixed and many have shown concern over the recent banning culture in the country including Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari.
However, there are always two sides to everything as there are many people are actually praising Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for their decision to implement a TikTok ban in Pakistan and making fun of Jannat Mirza in the process.
