Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro Specifications Tipped Before Launch

Vivo is expected to hold a huge launch event in China within the first quarter of this year, when it will reveal an assortment of products. The expected lineup includes Vivo Pad 3 tablet, which may have a Dimensity 9300 chip, the Vivo X100s and foldable phones such as Vivo X Fold 3 series. A popular leaker, Digital Chat Station, revealed details of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro on Weibo.

It is rumored that some key specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3 will include Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chipset , while the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will have the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset. Furthermore, the tipster revealed that the engineering design of the X Fold 3 does not include a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera that can be found in Pro version.

Also, the Vivo X Fold 3 lacks some features such as an in-display fingerprint scanner and 50W wireless charging. Therefore, it weighs less than the Pro model. On the other hand, the Pro variant’s outer display and inner foldable screen will be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Additionally, the inner LTPO panel of the Pro version is anticipated to provide a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, although specifics about the non-pro model’s displays are elusive.
