WhatsApp for iOS beta has brought a group polls feature allowing them to add a new poll to a group. According to WABetaInfo, the feature is still under development, but it makes it possible for users to add up to 12 possible options to a group poll.
The group polls feature on WhatsApp for iOS beta, which was spotted by WABetaInfo, a service that tracks new features on the encrypted messenger, states that it allows users to create polls on group chats and add up to 12 possible options for a question.
The feature is available to users running WhatsApp on iOS beta version 22.8.0.72 and it will be protected by end-to-end encryption as well, which means nobody accept the group members will be able to see the poll and its results. The new feature will likely make way to WhatsApp for Android and Desktop in the coming weeks.
WhatsApp has recently added 37 new Emojis on its beta version for Android after the company already introduced them on its iOS version. While the new emojis are available to users running WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.8.8, the users running older versions of the messenger will also be able to see the new emojis in chat.
