WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger Services Restored

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger have been restored after the services remained down for several minutes across the globe with users unable to send or receive messaging on these platforms.

The Facebook owned services which include its encrypted messenger platform WhatsApp along with Instagram and Facebook messenger were down worldwide for almost 45 minutes before getting restored with users unable to access these services.

Down Detector, a service that tracks online websites, also reported the outage after complaints from a number of users regarding issues accessing Facebook services.

Meanwhile, the social media giant Facebook has not yet issued any statement as to why WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook messenger went down for nearly an hour.
