Elon Musk’s X (formerly Twitter) has started rolling out audio and video calls on the platform, which was confirmed by CEO Linda Yaccarino back in August. According to the details, some users are being prompted with a message stating “Audio and Video calls are here!” after opening the X app.

Furthermore, the prompt includes instructions on how to set up the audio and video calling feature, which includes reviewing who can call you and make other changes to how the feature works.
Moreover, if you are not interested in receiving audio or video calls from people on X (formerly Twitter), you can simply disable the feature by going to Settings > Privacy & Safety > Direct Messages > Enable Audio & Video Calling.

While some people are getting a prompt about the new calling feature, it is not guaranteed and the audio and video calling feature is enabled by default. Therefore, it is recommended that you check your settings to see it it is already available on your account.
