The Xiaomi 12 series, which comprises of Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X models is tipped to launch outside China by February-end or early March. However, the tech company is yet to confirm the actually date for the global launch of the Xiaomi 12 series.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra is tipped to go official after the Chinese Spring Festival. The company’s high-end device was earlier expected to debut along with the Xiaomi 12 series but it is now rumored to succeed the Mi 11 Ultra. Tipster Digital Chat Station was responsible for the tip and posted the information on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
He stated that Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be launched in its home country after the Chinese Spring Festival and then start to make its way to the global market. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is said to feature a periscope super-telephoto camera. The information tipped so far about the smartphone has suggested a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto zoom camera
According to the leaks by known tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 12 series, including the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12X handsets globally by end of February or early March. However, there is no exact timeline for the launch of these smartphones in different countries.
The Xiaomi 12 series are no longer a surprise since they have already been launched in the local Chinese market. The smartphones include a hole-punch display design protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, a triple rear camera set up, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and 5G connectivity.
The Xiaomi 12 series is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor, while the Xiaomi 12X packs a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 12 series is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery as well.
