Xiaomi is set to debut its long-awaited flagship, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, internationally on February 25, which comes after its initial China launch event scheduled for February 22. Xiaomi has released images showcasing the device’s design and today’s announcements confirmed the camera specifications.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is confirmed to be packed with a 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera, using the second-generation one-inch Sony sensor. This camera has aperture that varies from f/1.63 to f/4.0. Furthermore, there will be a 50-megapixel IMX858 telephoto camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 3.2x optical zoom, as well as a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto camera boasting an f/2.5 aperture and 5x optical zoom.
However, information about the ultra-wide lens is still missing, but it is likely to keep its 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens with macro capabilities like the previous version. Additionally, several reports point to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra having a 6.73-inch AMOLED 2K 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a 5,300mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Furthermore, the smartphone will run Android 14 HyperOS operating system with a 32 megapixel front facing camera, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
