Xiaomi has launched the much-anticipated Redmi K60 Ultra, which is the fourth addition of the Redmi K60 series announced by the company last year in December. Redmi K60 Ultra is Xiaomi’s newest flagship that boasts some top-of-the-line features.
According to the details, the Redmi K60 Ultra will be powered by a the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC with MIUI 14 and the smartphone will be equipped with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Furthermore, the smartphone features a 12-bit 6.67″ 1.5K (2,712×1,220 pixels) screen with 2,600 nits peak brightness and 2,880Hz PWM dimming. Moreover, the display has a 144Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz.
In terms of graphics processing, the Redmi K60 Ultra is equipped with an independent graphics chip called the X7, which is developed with Pixelworks and it capable of achieving 144 FPS in 30 games.
The Redmi K60 Ultra also has an in-display fingerprint reader and the smartphone supports DCI P3 coverage along with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content. While the company has not made it clear whether the smartphone has an LCD panel or an OLED, it is safe to assume its the latter consider the above mentioned specifications.
The smartphone is also equipped with a massive 5,000 mAh battery and it comes with a 120W charger, which is advertised to charge the smartphone to a 100% in just 19 minutes. Xiaomi has used its self-developed P1 chip for fast-charging and the G1 chip for battery management.
Some other features of the Redmi K60 Ultra include 5G connectivity, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6 and NFC support. It also comes with 5000mm² stainless steel VC cooling, stereo speakers, dual-band GPS, and NavIC.
The smartphone is also IP68 water-resistant to provide that extra protection.
Redmi K60 Ultra comes in black, white and green with five memory options starting at $355.
