If you are applying for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden, you need to show bank statements for the last six months to prove you have enough money to cover your stay.

The minimum daily amount required for expenses in Sweden is EUR 80. To stay in Sweden for 30 days, you must have at least EUR 2,400 in your bank account. As of June 17, 2024, one Euro is equal to 298.24 Pakistani rupees. Therefore, you need to have a minimum of Rs. 715,776 in your bank account for a 30-day stay in Sweden.

Pakistani nationals need a Schengen short-term visa to visit Sweden for tourism. The Schengen visa allows you to travel across many European countries with a single visa.

Sweden is a popular tourist destination because of its beautiful coastal islands, inland lakes, vast forests, and glaciated mountains.

The Swedish Embassy processes Schengen visa applications for citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, as well as those legally residing in Pakistan.

Starting June 19, 2024, Pakistani citizens and residents who want to apply for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden must submit their applications at VFS Global centers located in various cities, including Bangkok, Yangon, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Manila, Cebu, Jakarta, Bali, Phnom Penh, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore.

Minimum Bank Balance For Schengen Visa to Sweden

  • Daily Required Amount: EUR 80
  • Minimum for 30 Days: EUR 2,400
  • Amount in Pakistani Rupees: Rs. 715,776
  • Application Centers: VFS Global in various cities across Asia
