Abu Dhabi has retained the first position on the list of the safest cities in 2024 according to Abu Dhabi Police. The ranking, according to the online database Numbeo, highlights the emirate’s efforts to apply high-security standards and improve life in its country for citizens, residents and visitors.
This is the eighth time that Abu Dhabi has been named as the world’s safest city, having held this enviable position since 2017. Major General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, links this continued success to the emirate’s commendable focus on improving community health and security.
