Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi court heard today a Pakistani worker killed his boss for refusing to pay him the promised pay increment.
The boss was attacked and killed with a butcher knife because his boss refused to pay the Dh500 salary increment which he was promised.

The Pakistani worker faces the charges of premeditated murder and theft.
According to court documents, the worker was promised that his monthly salary would be increased from Dh1000 to Dh1500. However, the employer also a Pakistani was relucted to the additional Dh500 as the increment in the salary as he had previously committed to.
The court records on the case also show that the defendant bought the butcher knife from a shop along with his friend. Later he phoned his boss for a meeting. He told his boss that he needed his help to pick something up from his friend in a remote area in the city outskirt.
While they were traveling in the car, the defendant took out the butcher knife from underneath his clothes and attacked his boss on the neck and head leading to his death. Then he drove off the car himself and parked it on the roadside with the body inside. The worker before fleeing took the victim’s laptop and two mobile phone and escaped the scene.
He went to his workplace, as usual, the next morning.
The body was found in the parked car by the municipal workers who informed the police.
Police investigations led them to the defendant.
The CCTV camera footages taken from the store further helped in the investigation. The footages helped in identifying the criminal from where the murder weapon was purchased.
The defendant when questioned that he had bought the butcher knife for his personal safety but later confessed and admitted to his act of murder.
The man denied the murder charge when he appeared in court.
The trial is adjourned until October 29.
