Crimea College Attack: Mother of Attacker Tries to Kill Herself

MOSCOW: A nurse who treated the victims of the Crimea College attack tries to kill herself.

The nurse was horrified to find out the attacker of the Crimea college was no one else but her son.

The mass killing by Vladislav Roslyakov has left 21 people dead and more than 65 injured. The attacker was done with a bomb and gun attack at the college.

While the son was busy with the killing spree, his mother was busy in the hospital providing first aid to the victims when they were brought to the hospital where she worked.

When she was told it was her son who had done it, she tried to take her own life.

Vladislav Roslyakov’s parents are divorced. Both the parents have been taken for questioning by the police authorities.

The age of students who dies in the horrific attack ranged between 15 and 19 Among the dead.

Among the dead were also a mother and daughter, Svetlana and Anastasia Baklanova, aged 57 and 26.

Five students are in a coma and are said to be in critical condition.

The act of heroism by the teachers have been also revealed. The teachers tried their best to divert the attention of Vladislav Roslyakov, teachers also sacrificed their lives to help the students escape.

Vladislav Roslyakov had shot himself in the college library after killing all those innocent souls.

According to eyewitnesses, there was more than one gunman. It was also brought to light that he had bought his shotgun after (Turkish-made Hatsan Escort pump action shotgun) clearing his legal, medical and psychiatric tests.

It is still not clear what made him do all that.

A friend was quoted saying:

“Vlad has always admired those who killed their classmates. I talked to him about it once when we were first-year students.
“I knew he had computer games where you shoot inside the school. But I did not think he may do something like this in reality.”
