In a significant move to enhance social support and strengthen families, Dubai has launched ‘The Dubai Social Agenda 33,’ a visionary plan with a commitment of Dh208 billion over the next decade. His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a key figure in the UAE, unveiled the comprehensive strategy on a special occasion dedicated to initiating impactful projects.
The primary objective of ‘The Dubai Social Agenda 33’ is to foster the well-being of families in the Emirate and to double the number of new UAE families. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of prioritizing families, stating, “Our top goal in the future should be families – keeping them safe and strong. We need to boost their well-being and unity.”
The ambitious plan involves providing land and monetary loans to all Emirati families within one year of their request, ensuring swift assistance to those in need. Additionally, the program includes the establishment of a robust health system to promote longer life, an education system focused on equipping children with skills for the future, and a social system to support individuals and families.
A noteworthy aspect of the initiative is its aim to triple the number of Emiratis working in private companies. The plan seeks to create diverse employment opportunities, enabling individuals to contribute to the growth and improvement of the emirate’s economy.
