Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched a new service where people can book driving test appointments as well as reschedule them via WhatsApp. The service is available via RTA’s chatbot “Mahboub” on (0588009090), where users will find an easy and secure way to access services via different platforms.
The service, aimed at easing customer access to RTA services, enables users to schedule driving tests and pay related fees directly through the “Mahboub” Chatbot. Pre-authenticated user phone numbers and registered information eliminate the need for the official application or visiting the RTA’s website. The interactive service allows users to schedule driving test appointments and make payments within the pre-authenticated system.
Mira Ahmed Al Sheikh, Director of the Smart Services Department at RTA’s Corporate Technical Support Services Sector, emphasizes that “Mahboub” can handle customer queries related to RTA’s information, procedures, and interactive services. The Chatbot continuously learns from previous conversations, improving its understanding of inquiries for more accurate responses.
“Mahboub” is available in Arabic and English and offers over 250 informational and procedural services through WhatsApp, covering public parking fees, vehicle ownership renewal inquiries, nol card services, marine transportation services, and more. Ongoing efforts include improving generative artificial intelligence techniques and enabling digital identity for a better, faster, and more secure customer experience.
