Dubai’s RTA Announces Special Marine Transport Services for Residents to Watch Fireworks on New Year’s Eve

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced special marine transport services for New Year’s Eve that will allow residents and visitors to enjoy festivities like fireworks as they bid farewell to 2023 and welcome 2024.

Here are the details:

Dubai Ferry

• Highlights: Air-conditioned indoor seating, outdoor deck, gold and silver class.
• Capacity: Up to 98 passengers.
• Departure Stations:
  • 10 pm: Marina Mall (Dubai Marina) Marine Transport Station.
  • 10:30 pm: Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station.
  • 10:30 pm: Bluewaters Station Marine Transport Station.
• Cost:
  • Dh350 per person (Silver Class).
  • Dh525 per person (Gold Class).
  • 50% discount for children (2-10 years).
  • Free for infants under two.

Water Taxi

• Capacity: Accommodates up to 20 passengers.
• Departure: 10:30 pm from Marina Mall (Dubai Marina) to 1:30 am the next day.
• Cost: Dh3,750 for the entire Water Taxi.
  • Free for children under two.

Abra

• Options: ‘Open abra’ or ‘air-conditioned (AC) abra’.
• Stations:
  • Marina Mall (Dubai Marina) Marine Transport Station.
  • Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station.
  • Al Fahidi Marine Transport Station.
  • Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station.
• AC Abra Availability: Marina Mall (Dubai Marina), Al Jaddaf, and Al Fahidi.
• Timings:

  • 10 pm – Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station.
