During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, will provide iftar meal boxes for fasting passengers on flights and at boarding gates in Dubai International Airport.
They will also offer religious content and popular TV shows on ice, their entertainment system, along with traditional Ramadan dishes in their lounges. Onboard flights, Muslim passengers will be notified of the iftar time by the captain.
Additionally, Emirates will serve Ramadan boxes on flights for Umrah groups heading to Jeddah and Medina. Passengers are permitted to check in one bottle of Zamzam holy water, containing up to 5 liters per person, at Dubai International Airport and various airports in Saudi Arabia.
